The Ultimate Pizza

There is an amazing restaurant in Kingston Ontario called Woodenheads. We have gone there on numerous occasions and our favourite pizza is called the Dynamo. This was our attempt to recreate it with a healthy conscious.

It turned out incredibly, very close to the real thing.

The Healthy Meets Gluttony take on the original Dynamo pizza from Woodenheads.
- Thin crust pre-made pizza crust from any regular grocery store (compare nutrition facts for the lowest fat, lowest carb choice).
- Extra virgin olive oil.
- Pesto for the base.
- Chicken breast cut into slices and cooked in a pan with honey.
- Roma tomatoes sliced and broiled with salt and pepper.
- Crust, then pesto, then roasted tomatoes, then chicken and then a handful of feta.
- Can cook on a cookie sheet, or as we did, use a pizza stone.
- Cook until crust is nice an crispy, take out and drizzle honey on the entire pizza - cut and enjoy!

A different style of pizza all together, but it is one of the most delicious meals we have had - not to mention a fairly healthy take on your normal pizza without jeopardizing taste!

Now to explain us a little more - we love food, we love trying new things, experiencing different flavours and experimenting while cooking. One of us loves meat and the other is a huge lover of cheese. As you can see from the pizza, one side is a little bit more meaty than the other.

As we go, you will learn about our different tastes - one has a bit more of a sweet tooth than the other, but together we make a great team of food testers and always looking for the next great meal.

Give it a try and tell us how you make out!
